I was taking a cab to a meeting, and I always find those situations quite awkward as I am not very good at small talk. However, the very nice man striked up a conversation with me, and it helped me relax. Then, when we arrived, the ride was £5.40, so I gave him a £10, but he gave me a £5 back and told me to keep the change. I was suppossed to be giving him a tip! I wish I hadn't been so flustered so I could have refused and let him keep the change, but I appreciate his kindness very much, and hope he doesn't do that too often!
