A few years ago I went to the Civic Centre in Folkestone and got trapped in the automatic doors and knocked down. Several people were about but nobody came to my aid except one young man. Now normally being an older lady I would have been somewhat frightened of him and steered clear, because he was of hippy appearance with rings in his ears etc. He was so kind he helped me up and took me inside the centre and got me a drink. He did not leave until he was sure I was alright. A genuine act of kindness which teaches people like me that young people are not all bad and that we should show more tolerance to others
