I just had to write to you about the kindness and support that has been shown to me. Two weeks ago I was diagnosed with breast cancer. When I was able to talk about it to other people I was overwhelmed by the kindness shown to me, especially by one person. I don’t know her surname I only know her as Kathy, I do know though she has a daughter Hannah who is 7 and goes to Lyminge School. When I came home from shopping on Thursday, there on my doorstep wrapped in a bag was my favourite cake made by Kathy and a card offering me support and saying if I needed anything done, she would be happy to help. That gesture has really given me a boost. Isn’t that a wonderful act of kindness? I do hope you all think so.
