My son and I are going to write to his grandparents every month as our challenge. This is because they are so amazing at writing to us every week - sending wonderful packages, notes and postcards. All sorts of stuff really like seeds, sweets, recipes and pictures. Over the years they have become a rich version of my life's memories. And I am absolutely rubbish at sending anything back. But I know how much it would mean to them so my mission is to get creative and send a letter, drawing or momento every month featuring messages and pictures from my son. It's written in my dairy for the first Friday of the month, but who knows it might happen more often and more spontaneously.
