There is a homeless man, who is also deaf, who hangs around the grocery store where I shop.
The store has banned him from entering the facility.
We struggle financially, but I cannot turn a blind eye to this precious man.
I buy him groceries when I can or give him my remaining few dollars. I always greet him with a giant smile and a hug.
I wish I could communicate how very valuable he is. I wish I could do more.
I have a heart for the homeless, maybe because I've been there and am always close to being there again.
I wish more people would respond in a generous and loving way. If I can give from my lack, anyone can.
It's not for me to judge why he is in this situation or what he does with the money. He simply needs compassion
